Huset’s Speedway Showcasing Big Money This Week Throughout Four-Day Silver Dollar Nationals Presented by MyRacePass

Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (July 15, 2024) – Another giant week of racing has arrived at Huset’s Speedway with four straight nights of racing on tap.

The track hosts the 14th annual Silver Dollar Nationals presented by MyRacePass Wednesday through Saturday. The Bargain Barn Tire Center Night kicks off the action on Wednesday and features the $6,000-to-win Ben Nothdurft Memorial for the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Models as well as the IMCA Dirt Crown Stock Cars in a $3,000-to-win feature.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series visits the high-banked oval the following three nights with $10,000-to-win preliminary nights on Thursday and Friday setting up a $53,000-to-win main event on Saturday during Kwik Star Night. The Tri-State Late Models will also compete on Thursday with the Malvern Bank SLMR Series racing for the $5,053 top prize on Friday and Saturday.

Ricky Thornton Jr. currently leads the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship standings by a whopping 255 points with two more nights of racing before the series arrives at Huset’s Speedway. Jonathan Davenport ranks second with Devin Moran (305 points back), Tim McCreadie (625 points behind Thornton Jr.) and Hudson O’Neal and Mike Marlar (720 out of the top spot) rounding out the top five.

Chad Holladay is atop the SLMR Series West Division championship standings by 30 points over J.C. Wyman. Bill Leighton is third (42 points behind Holladay), Tad Pospisil (44 points back) ranks fourth and Jesse Sobbing (72 points out of the lead) sits fifth.

Blair Nothdurft is the Tri-State Late Models points leader with Scott Ward (20 points back), Corey Zeitner (22 points), Chase Alves (55 points) and Trevor Anderson (74 points) sitting in top-five positions.

The gates open at 4:30 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for approximately 6:30 p.m. each night.

Adult reserved tickets are $25 and $22 for general admission, and tickets for youth ages 12-years-old or younger are $15 on Wednesday. Reserved adult tickets are $40 and $37 for general admission, and tickets for youth ages 12-years-old or younger are $20 on Thursday and Friday.
