Inside Line Promotions – DES MOINES, Iowa (April 26, 2018) – New tracks, a lot of cars and tough competition are what Scott Bogucki and his SawBlade.com backed team are excited to face in the next two weeks when the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com makes rare appearances at tracks in Kentucky and Pennsylvania.

Bogucki, who is in his rookie campaign with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com, knows the competition he will face the next two weeks will give him valuable experience. It begins this Friday at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Ky.

Following Friday’s event, the ASCS National Tour travels to the historic half-mile tracks of Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., on May 4 and Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pa., on May 5.

“This is the first time I will have ever seen any of these tracks,” Bogucki said. “They are bigger tracks and the only places I’ve run that compare are Knoxville (Raceway) and Jackson (Motorplex). They are expecting big car counts for these races.

“I hear a lot of the weekly 410 racers are putting 360 engines in to compete. I’m excited to see how we stack up. The only way to get better is to compete against that caliber of talent at their home track.”

It’s been three weeks since Bogucki has raced, though he attempted to compete at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, last Saturday.

“We put our 410 motor in and we knew it was tired, but we thought we could get at least one more night out of it,” he said. “It didn’t make it past hot laps. We’ve spent the whole week in the engine shop working on our program.”

Bogucki heads into Friday’s race tied for ninth in the ASCS National Tour championship standings after the first three races of the season.
