Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (June 8, 2016) – Seth Bergman earned a trio of top-10 finishes last weekend in three different states.

The competition began on Friday at Hartford Speedway in Hartford, Mich., where Bergman rallied from eighth to fifth place during a Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour heat race. That gave him the 11th most points and a starting position on the inside of the sixth row for the main event.

“We knocked a brake line off and had to go to the work area so that made us restart at the back,” he said. “The track was mostly one lane around the bottom so we did what we could.”

Bergman rallied from the back to earn a ninth-place result, which was his fifth top 10 of the season with the series.

The team ventured to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday. Bergman qualified 11th quickest and he won a heat race after starting on the inside of the second row. That lined him up on the inside of the sixth row for the feature for the second straight night.

“We were able to pick up a few positions, but not qualifying inside the feature inversion hurt us again,” he said. “I think if we could do that and start in the first couple of rows in the main event we’d be in good shape.”

Bergman posted a seventh-place finish, giving him a top 10 during all four visits to the half-mile oval this season.

The weekend wrapped up on Sunday at Badlands Motor Speedway, where Bergman won a heat race from the pole position. That started him on the outside of the third row for the main event.

“We struggled with the balance and didn’t have the car how we needed,” he said. “Last week we won there after starting on the front row when I had some clean air and was able to set the pace of the race. This week we were a little off and it hurt us in dirty air.”

Bergman finished 10th, which marked his 21st top 10 of the season.

Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour events at Plymouth Speedway in Plymouth, Ind., on Wednesday and at Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Ind., on Saturday both rained out.

Bergman will return to ASCS National Tour competition this Saturday at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, for the start of the 24th annual Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek.
