Lehr 2 for 2 at Angell Park in Meyer Valves and Vacs Wisconsin wingLESS Competition

August 14, 2016; Sun Prairie, WI - The Meyer Valves and Vacs Wisconsin wingLESS series presented by the IRA made their second of three trips to the legendary Angell Park Speedway, where just two weeks prior Todd Lehr was able to capture the victory.
In qualifying Jordan Mattson would set quick time over Doug Schenck, Todd Lehr, Jimmy Kouba and Allen Hafford would round out the top five.
Heat 1 saw Jake Kouba jump to the early lead and and would never look back.Todd Lehr and Jordan Mattson would both pass the #38 car of Allen Hafford but were unsuccessful in challenging Kouba for the win. Heat 2 was more eventful as Doug Scheneck still searching for the elusive Angell Park victory would use a caution to charge from his 4th starting place to the lead.
In the A main second place starting Todd Lehr was able to get the lead on the first corner and would never look back. The later stages of the race saw Jordan Mattson, driving a car owned by longtime Angell Park midget owner Hans Lein, make a charge to catch Lehr but he would fall just a couple laps short of challenging for the win. The top 5 was rounded out by Jake Kouba, Doug Schenck and Jimmy Kouba.
