The Action Heats Up this Saturday night for Week 7 of the "Race"

Terry Mattox - SAPULPA, Okla. (August 21st, 2013) - The Action is heating up this Saturday night at Creek County Speedway as Week 7 of the "Race for the Championship" gets into action.

Brent Bates is your current point leader in the Champ Sprint division leading the Rookie Christian York by 394 points. Ricky York resides in the third spot, with Robby Sherrell, and Jackie York rounding out the top 5.

Brett “The Jet” Wilson sits on top of the “Mighty” Modified points chart with a slim 11 point lead over second place Ho Dean. Rounding out the podium is Dena Wilson. Shawn Rowell, and Anthony Neel round out the top 5.

Jeff Record leads Kevin Brewer by 32 points in the “Race for the Dwarf Car Championship.” David Cummins stands on the final step of the podium. Larry Pense, and Rick Cochran round out the top 5 in the “Down and Dirty” Dwarf Car division point standings.

Josh Jeffries continues to lead the “Fast and Furious” Factory Stock division with a 221 point advantage of second place Jimmy Owen. Bobby Wolfe sits in the third spot, with Toby Cooper, and Dann Gray rounding out the top 5.

Daniel Ray Denton still leads the point standings in the “Survival of the Fittest” Mini Stock division holding a 355 point lead over his cousin Dee Denton. Michael Rodman sits in the third spot, with last week’s feature winner Jimmy Masterson sitting in the fourth spot. Dearl Harrison rounds out the top 5.

Load up the kids, call your mother in law and bring them all out to “The Creek” this Saturday night for the fastest fun around!

Gates open at 5:00, Hotlaps at 7:00, and Racing at 7:30.

Tickets just $10 for Adults, Kids 10-14 $6 and children under 10 are always FREE! Pit Passes $30.

Creek County Speedway is a fast quarter mile oval located outside Sapulpa, Oklahoma on historic Route 66. CCS has been bringing high octane excitement to race fans since 1986.
