Creek County Speedway
Clark, Davis, Pense, Wolfe and Denton Dodge Cautions to Claim Feature Wins at Creek County.
Terry Mattox – SAPULPA, Okla. (July 11, 2015) – Kyle Clark, Chad Davis, Larry Pense, Bobby Wolfe and Daniel Ray Denton each dodged caution full features to claim feature event wins and Creek County Speedway on Saturday night, while Glen Passmore, Jr. banks in $1100 to win Non-Wing Champ Sprint special.
Kyle Clark took advantage of his front row starting spot to claim his first Champ Sprint feature event win in 2015 at Creek County Speedway out dueling pole setter, Brett Wilson. Kevin Brewer charged three positions to take home the third spot. Hard charger of the night, Glen Passmore, Jr. advanced eight spots to come home in fourth with Zach Alley moving up three positions to round out the top five.
Clark, Frank Taft and Keith Bolton each claimed heat race victories during the night.
Glen Passmore banked on Kyle Clarks last turn misfortune to claim the $1100 to win Non-Wing Champ Sprint special 20-lap race following the nights points action.
Chad Davis bested an eight car Modified feature over Anthony Neel who moved up three positions to the second spot. Ho Dean advanced four spots to the third spot in the 15-lap feature event. Brett Wilson moved up two spots to come home in fourth and Justin Cartwright rounded out the top five.
Davis also swept the night by also winning the heat race and qualifier.
Larry Pense moved up five spots to take home the Dwarf Car feature over outside front row starter, Kyle Spencer. Todd Reynold charged from the 10th spot to come home in the third position at the conclusion of the 20-lap feature race. Paul York moved up three spots in the running order at the finish and Sam Champlain rounded out the top five.
Tanner Phillips and Kyle Spencer each claimed a heat race victory during the night.
Bobby Wolfe concurred the Factory Stock 20-lap feature event after coming from the fifth spot. James Esmond crossed the line in the second spot after starting fourth. Tommy Romine advanced 10 positions to take the final spot on the podium. Leonard Bledsaw moved up seven positions to come home fourth and Matt Rowe crossed in fifth.
Wolfe and Esmond each scored heat race victories.
Daniel Ray Denton took home the win in the survival of the fittest Mini Stock division out running a charging, Wesley Knebel. Bobby Traster move up five positions to come home on the last spot of the podium with Dee Denton and Jimmy Masterson rounding out the top five.
Masterson and Daniel Ray Denton each took heat race victories in the Mini Stock class.
