ASCS Sooner Region Rolling Into Three Race Lineup In Kansas And Oklahoma

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (June 2, 2021) Embarking on a three-night run, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley’s Racing Products will head for track in Kansas and Oklahoma this weekend.

Kicking off Friday, June 4 at Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., the series will move south to Lawton, Okla. and the famed Lawton Speedway on Saturday, June 5 before ending the weekend with the Mickey Walker Classic at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. on Sunday, June 5.

Paying $2,000 to win, $300 to start at Humboldt and Lawton, the payout goes to $2,222 to win, $402 to start at Creek County Speedway in honor of Mickey’s No. 2.

Going into the weekend, the tour is led by Ryan Timms. Two wins on the season, the 14-year-old rolls into the weekend fresh off his first National Tour triumph, worth $10,000 at Lake Ozark Speedway. Carrying momentum and a 111-point lead, the driver closest to the chase is Jeremy Campbell, with Brandon Anderson in third. Kyle Clark and Sean McClelland make up the top five.

Friday, June 4 at Humboldt Speedway opens at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT).
Saturday, June 5 at Lawton Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT).
Sunday, June 6 at Creek Co. Speedway opens at 4:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT).

Admission at Humboldt Speedway is $15 for adults with kids five and under free into the grandstands. Lawton Speedway is $20 for adults and free for kids five and under. Creek County Speedway is $20 for adults with kids 10 and under free into the grandstands. Pit Passes each night are $35.

For fans that cannot attend, each night can be seen live on Racinboys.tv.

The 2021 season marks the 30th year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the ASCS Nation also includes 11 Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
