Creek County Speedway
$6,000 To Win Ironman Non-Wing Champ/305 Sprint Car Challenge This Sunday
Bryan Hulbert – SAPULPA, Okla. (August 30, 2022) What has grown into one of Creek County Speedway’s largest and highly anticipated events, the OILFIRE Rye Whiskey and Liqueur Ironman 55 presented by Bob Hurley RV and Tulsa Power Sports and Outdoors is set for its eighth running on Sunday, September 4.
Presented by D&D Promotions, the 2022 event will feature a $6,000 to win, $600 to start feature event for Non-Wing Champ/305 Sprint Cars, along with numerous other prizes like hard charger, longest tow, positions in the feature, etc.
A new twist to this year’s event, teams will draw for Heat Races, with drivers qualifying within those heats. Heat Races will have a four-car invert, with the number of transfers into the A-Feature based on the number of Heat Races. More information on feature lineups will be explained at the event.
Sunday, September 4, opens at 5:00 P.M., with racing getting underway at 7:30 P.M. Pits will open at 4:00 P.M., with the draw opening at 5:30 P.M. (CDT). All teams will have 30 minutes to check in.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for Youth (11-14), and free for kids 10 and under. Anyone who brings their general admission ticket from Saturday's Pete Frazier Memorial at Port City Raceway will get $5 off their general admission ticket to the Ironman 55. Pit Passes are $30. The evening will also include NOW600 Sooner Dwarf Cars.
