Lake Ozark Speedway’s 360 Nationals to be Bigger and Better in 2020

Eldon, MO. (08/13/2020) Combining two marquee events into one of the biggest racing spectacles in the country, the one-third-mile dirt-oval in Eldon, Missouri has added more excitement to the running program of the 11th Annual 360 Nationals at Lake Ozark Speedway. Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League, ASCS Warrior Region, and POWRi RaceSaver 305 Sprints will all tackle the racing surface for their shot at glory in two stand-alone shows for the weekend of competition.

Adding to the already action-packed racing program, the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League will take part in their 2nd Annual Lake Ozark Speedway Non-Wing Nationals competing for $2000 to win each night. Last season with the POWRi WAR Sprint League #28 Kory Schudy would have speedy success all weekend. Initially, by placing a very close 2nd to Wesley Smith on night one, Schudy would park his Sawyer Racing hot-rod in victory lane on the second night of racing, earning the honor of being crowned the first-ever Lake Ozark Speedway Non-Wing Nationals Champion.

Saturday, September 5th the RacinBoys.com ASCS Warrior Region will try to tame “The Lake” in the first night of the Lake Ozark Speedway 360 Nationals with a $3000 to win payday. Night #2 on Sunday, September 6th more money will be on the line as the winner takes home $5000. Last season would witness Robbie Price win night one as Sam Hafertepe Jr. would earn the victory in the final night of racing. Who will gain the advantage this season and walk away with the title of “Lake Ozark Speedway King of the 360’s”?

Support class for both nights of racing action will be the always entertaining POWRi RaceSaver 305 Wing Sprints at Lake Ozark Speedway. Points are about as close as any fan could ask for with only seven points separating the top two competitors with Kenny Potter holding a slight marginal advantage over Danny Clark. Can Potter maintain the seasonal edge onto the championship, or will Clark close the gap and overtake for first in the final few race weekends?
