Level 5 Off Road Series returns to Lucas Oil Speedway this weekend
By Lyndal Scranton (Wheatland, MO) -- The Level 5 Off Road Series returns to Lucas Oil Speedway's off road course for the second time this season with a daytime program on Saturday. Drivers will compete for a $5,000 purse, sponsored by Lucas Oil.
Like its initial appearance back in April for the first of three regional series appearances in 2018, Level 5 Off Road again will offer drivers multiple classes to accommodate all skills levels, including Pro Unlimited, Production 1000, RS1, Sportsman and Youth.

"We're hoping to get a lot better turnout this time," Level 5 Off Road Promoter Ryan Kenaga said. "We're giving $5,000 payouts across all of our classes, including paying all the way down to the top 10 finishers in some classes.
"This will be round two of our three-race regional championship series. The last one at Lucas we have about 35-40 cars and this go-around Lucas Oil stepped up and we'll see what we can do with a little better payout money on the line."
Kenaga said he's heard from drivers planning to make the trip from Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee, along with the four-state area.
In addition to Lucas Oil, Kenaga said several other sponsors have stepped up in support including Freedom Powersports, Hess Motorsports, Fuel Off Road Wheels and Tires, SSI Decals, Hardcore Tuning and Dragonfire Racing.
Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said Saturday will be an opportunity for fans to make it a full day at the speedway, with the Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series in action that night. Those purchasing Level 5 Off Road tickets will be admitted free to the night-time program.
