Lucas Oil Late Models rained out at Jackson Motorplex
By Lucas Oil Late Model Series PR (Jackson, MN) -- Wednesday night's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at Jackson Motorplex was rained out due to heavy rain overnight continuing into the late morning hours.
The $10,000-to-win event will not be rescheduled. Fans who purchased tickets in advance for the event will receive a full refund. Those who purchased tickets online will receive an email confirmation of their refund.
The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series moves on to I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb. The weekend will get underway on Thursday with the $12,000-to-win, Malvern Bank Go 50 - a full program with a 50-lap main event.
Friday’s action includes preliminary events for the Imperial Tile 9th annual Silver Dollar Nationals - highlighted by two thrilling rounds of heat race action for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. On Saturday, B-Mains will be held, along with the $3,000-to-win non-qualifier race. The 80-lap, $53,000-to-win Silver Dollar Nationals main event will cap off the weekend action.
