VSR Fields Three Headed Monster This Saturday At Petaluma Speedway
This Saturday night at Petaluma Speedway, the VanLare Steering Repair stable will field the equivalent of a dream team on the Petaluma 3/8ths adobe for Round #4 of the PitStopUSA Wingless Sprint Car Series with a Silver Cup Champion in one car, a Petaluma Speedway Track Champion in another and a two-time USAC Champion in yet a third VanLare Steering Repair entry.
Rio Linda’s Scott Hall, already the 2012 Silver Cup Race of Champions winner, leads the VSR team into battle this Saturday night driving the VSR #56v. Hall currently sits a close 3rd in the PitStopUSA Wingless Sprint Car Series points and has been ultra fast the first three rounds of the series and looks to shake the “bad luck in the A Main” bug.
The VSR #5d Wingless Sprint Car will be driven by the 2010 Petaluma Speedway 360 Sprint Car Champion, Sebastopol’s Bradley Terrell. Terrell comes into Saturday night’s program a certified winged 360 ace with only a handful of wingless races under his belt. Terrell is long on Petaluma Speedway knowledge and main event victories however as the has visited victory lane at Petaluma Speedway numerous times in his career, and the 21 year old looks to add to that this Saturday driving for VSR once again. Terrell previously raced the VSR #5v 360 Sprint Car.
The third bullet in the garage, debuting the VSR #5v Wingless Sprint Car for the 2012 season this Saturday night, will be another Sebastopol native, 22 year old and 2011 USAC Western Classic Series Dirt and Overall Champion, Geoff Ensign. Known as The Human Highlight Reel for his on-track exploits, Ensign won last weeks PitStopUSA 360 Series main event at Petaluma and looks to make it two wins in as many weeks at his home track tomorrow night.
All in all, the VanLare Steering Repair team certainly looks loaded for bear as Round #4 of the PitStopUSA Sprint Car Series swoops in on Petaluma Speedway tomorrow night, May 12th!
