For the first time since 2009, the Forsberg Racing No. 92 rolled into Civil War Series victory lane. Andy Forsberg would emerge the victor for the first time in 2017 and for the 29th time in his career with the series. "I love driving for other people, but it is pretty cool to be up here in victory lane with the family car," an emotional Andy Forsberg said. Andy also won the dash in his EAGLE.

Rico Abreu charged around the high-line, with just four-laps remaining in the feature, to claim the top prize on opening night of the fourth annual Peter Murphy Classic. The victory made Abreu the third different winner in the first three races with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour, this one at Tulare’s Thunderbowl Raceway. The familiar #24 EAGLE bested the 51 car field and made it two consecutive wins on the Tour for an EAGLE car.

Joey Danley captured the regular season opener at Eagle Raceway against a full field of IMCA Racesaver sprint cars. Joey steered his EAGLE car around the fastest 1/3 mile to win the event amongst a group of season veterans.

Jared Gundersen made a strategic line change to win at Deming Speedway in his HENCHCRAFT. His first win of the year all by leading from the drop of the green. Jared quickly built a solid lead that he’d hold to take the victory.

Klint Simpson earned his 3rd win on season, this one at Petaluma Speedway, making 21 total for the partnership between he and Dave Johnson that make up Ram Bull Racing. Klint gave away his hard earned winning trophy to a young fan after the winners presentation. A noble act by the EAGLE driver.
