New Silver Dollar Speedway Promoter Welcome Race Fans to 2011

Dear Race Fan,
Welcome to a new era of auto racing at Silver Dollar Speedway. This historic speedway has operated continuously for more that 50 years, but never in this history has the prospects for quality entertainment and hard hitting motor sports action been higher.
Thanks for your interest in our racetrack and please allow us to tell you about some exiting changes at Silver Dollar Speedway. First, I'm Dennis Gage and we've nearly completed the process for me to operate Silver Dollar Speedway. Some of you may remember me as the communication director and track announcer for the speedway over the last twenty plus years. I'm very excited about the 2011 race season and look forward to meeting you all.
We're proud to announce plans for the 23rd annual Mini Gold Cup. The World of Outlaw series will showcase this two-day showdown that opens the 2011 race year on March 11 and 12. Led by the legendary United States Auto Club (USAC) Sprint cars on Friday March 11, the barnstorming Outlaw troop will invade the Speedway on Saturday March 12. Midget Racing will be part of the Friday show.
The 58th annual Gold Cup Race of Champions will see the return of World of Outlaw sprint car racing. Kicking off the fastest four days of California dirt track racing will be the California Sprint Car Civil War series. The Gold Cup will be held Wednesday through Saturday September 7 thru 10th. Tickets are currently on sale for the four days of Gold Cup. Individual night sales will begin in June. Camping is currently available for the week of Gold Cup or Mini Gold Cup.
Our Feather Falls, Hoosier Tires championship season will get underway on Friday April 1 and will feature winged 410 sprint cars, dirt modifieds, street stocks, and wingless sprints.
We thank all of our returning sponsors like Coors Light and Pepsi, and welcome a host of new backers. Without them this Speedway could not survive. Friday night Mini-Gold Cup tickets will be general admission. Saturday night World of Outlaw tickets are now on sale and can be obtained by calling 877-395-8606 or at dirtcar.ticketforce.com. Camping or Gold Cup tickets are available at the Speedway office at 530-350-7275 or information can be obtained at the track website www.silverdollarspeedway.com.
