Wells Fargo point championship racing #5 is scheduled for this Friday night, May 11. Five divisions will compete on the famed quarter-mile clay oval speedway. The powerful 410 winged sprint cars, dirt modifieds, wingless sprints, limited late models and economy sprints are all scheduled to compete. Tonight we are recognizing Wells Fargo, Coors Light and Hoosier Racing Tire for all that they do for the speedway.

Front grandstand gate opens at 6pm. Pit gate scheduled to open at 4pm. Racing slated for 7:30pm. General admission is just $12.00. Juniors and seniors are $10.00 and children $6.

Auburn's Andy Forsberg is starting to build a sizable lead in the 410 championship. Forsberg has an 11-point lead over Roseville driver Sean Becker. Chico's Brad Bumgarner sits third but is already 16-points. Redding's Tyler Wolf and Chico's Kenny Allen sit fourth and fifth in the point chase. The other competitors will need a strong Friday night to catch Forsberg.

Rowdy McClennon is set to try and win a track championship. He holds a two point edge over Travis Moore. Brett Youngman is right there is any of the top two drivers slip up.

Oreste Gonella and Randy McDaniel are tied for the dirt modified point lead. Jeff Olschowka could be considered the fastest driver in the early part of the season but he has been unable secure a win. Jay Bryant and Raymond Benekowski have been pleasant surprises this season.

Limited Late Model racing has been very entertaining to say the least. Randy McDaniel is also leading this division. No one driver has won two separate track driving titles in the same year. Brad Magenheimer and Matt Micheli are nipping at McDaniel's heal. The General Jerry Bartlett is ready to park his familiar #00 in victory lane. Charlie Marrs rounds out the top ten.

Economy sprints will get another chance to race at the speedway this Friday night. A limited amount of cars have shown up in recent appearances. Please call the track office if you are planning to run this Friday night.
