There will be plenty on track action to get everyone's attention. Yet, off the track we are proud to host children and their families from the local Wings of Eagles. "We were approached by Garth Moore to host a fun night for the Wings of Eagles," said Dennis Gage the promoter of Silver Dollar Speedway. "Nothing would make us happier to see these kids come out and have a great time watching our drivers put on a great show." The Wings of Eagles is a non profit public benefit corporation dedicated to helping families with seriously ill children.

All the children here tonight will receive a V.I.P pit experience. Each child will receive a gift bag from the Moore family while the Speedway will treat the kids to a special dinner at the track. During the night, Moore and his family will help try to raise awareness for the organization and some extra money. "We have always been lucky to be involved with the Silver Dollar Speedway," said Garth Moore. "It's great that Dennis was willing to offer this night for the kids to come out and enjoy some good old fashion dirt track racing."

Front gates open at 6pm with racing to start around 7pm. Adult tickets are $12.00. Juniors and seniors are $10.00. Kids 7 - 11 are $6.00. Children 6 and under are free.

Princeton's Mason Moore will be a big part of the festivities. Not only will he be racing but also hosting the pre-race pit party. "It's an honor to have the kids come out to the pits and get a chance to sit in the car and mingle with my crew and other drivers," said Mason Moore.

"Wings of Eagles" is the Joseph Alvarez Organization for seriously ill children. "Wings" was established in June of 1993 by Georgia Alvarez in memory of her son Joseph who died of a very rare and terminal form of leukemia in January of 1991. Hundreds of families who have a child with a serious illness have been served by "Wings", relieving their financial and emotional burdens. "Wings of Eagles" is an all-denominational, nonprofit public benefit corporation. All funds raised directly benefit families who have a seriously ill child. Since the inception of "Wings", over $1,000,000.00 has been raised to help children in Northern California who have various forms of serious, life-threatening illnesses, with preference given to pediatric cancer cases.
