The 410 sprints will once again be the mainstay division in 2013 at Silver Dollar Speedway. Defending champion Sean Becker returns to repeat his successful 2012. Becker and his team are geared up for the upcoming year. Andy Forsberg has finished second in the points two years in a row now. He has dedicated himself in the off season hiring an MMA trainer to get him in better physical shape. The 410 division should be loaded again with Mason Moore, Brad Bumgarner and Kevin Sharrah all returning. Others expected on a nightly basis include Jason York, John Bunch, Kenny Allen and Michael Tarter.
Another driver ready to defend his title is Jake Vantol. The street stock champion is geared up to repeat. Mike Slightom, Shawn Smith, and Bill Patterson look to dethrone Vantol. Mini Stock competitors Misty Castleberry and Jason Clayton are ready to continue their rivalry on the track. The two will hopefully be joined by James Foster and the Merritt family. All indications are that Rowdy McClenon will look to repeat at wingless champion. He was at the Silver Cup. Taylor Nelson, Angelique Bell and Travis Moore are three drivers who are looking for a championship at Chico. The Economy Sprints impressed track promoter Dennis Gage enough that he has decided to let them race for a championship this season. Double digit car counts were the talk of the pit area late last year.
