Final Time to See 410 Sprints

CHICO, CA (5-6-15) - The Chuck Patterson Dodge of Chico points race #6 scheduled for this Friday night, May 8, will be the final time that fans will see 410 sprint cars on the track for roughly one month. Due to the scheduling of the Silver Dollar Fair and all the preparation it takes to make the five day event a success, the Speedway will host its next Friday night point race on June 5th. Basically, if you love the 410 sprint cars, this Friday night, presented by Fastenal and JPs Paint and Body Works, is a must see show.

Friday night the pit gate for the competitors will open at 4 PM. The front gate for the fans will open at 6 PM. Racing is slated to start at 7 PM. Pricing for each event is available on line at www.silverdollarspeedway.com

The local Fastenal store, located 607 Country Drive in Chico, is teaming up with JPs Paint and Body Works to sponsor this night of racing. The five division night of racing will also include the Dirt Modifieds, Limited Late Models, Street Stocks and Hobby Stocks.

Rosevilles Sean Becker has catapulted into the lead during the Friday night 410 sprint car point standings. Becker, the four time champion, holds a slim two point edge of Chicos Jonathan Allard. Princetons Mason Moore is in the third spot and sits 10-points behind Becker. Chicos Brad Bumgarner and Andersons Keith Bloom Jr. are the final two drivers inside the top five.

Two-time and reigning dirt modified champion, Duane Cleveland, is at the top of the charts. Yet, the upper five are only separated by just four points. The dirt modified division has continued to produce great car counts and close grass-roots style racing. Ryan McDaniel, Nevin Kennemore, Mark Abouzeid and Dan Dozier are the drivers nestled inside the top five.

Marysvilles Ryan McDaniel has won all three limited late model main events this season. McDaniel will try to make it four in a row this Friday. McDaniel has won the previous two track titles and comes into this Friday with a seven point lead over David Newquist.

Chicos Phil Marino, a two-time track champion, is holding a seven point lead over defending track champion Chris Warner. Clinton Earl is on the cusp of a win while Eddie Hammett has shown speed all season. Richard Workman continues his consistent ways and holds down the fifth spot.

Yuba Citys Brian Cooper is perfect this year in the Hobby Stocks. Two wins and two heat race victories has given him a perfect point total this season. Former champion Brian Compton of Sacramento and Paradise driver David Pierce both have finished inside the top five during the feature events this year.
