Racing Continues This Friday Night

CHICO, CA (4-19-16) - Chuck Patterson Dodge presents Championship Point Auto Racing #3 this Friday night at Silver Dollar Speedway. Five different divisions of race cars will circulate the quarter-mile clay oval speedway. The 410 sprint cars will lead the charge. Joining them are the hobby stocks, economy sprints, street stocks and dwarf cars. Over 60 race cars are expected this Friday night, April 22nd.

Adult general admission is $14.00. Senior and junior pricing is $12.00. Children just $6.00 and kids five and under are always free. As usual, there is FREE PARKING for every Friday night event. Front grandstand gate opens at 6 PM. Pit gate for the competitors opens at 4 PM. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 PM.

Roseville's Sean Becker, Auburn's Andy Forsberg and Chico's Jonathan Allard will continue their championship battle in the 410 sprint cars. A nice new group of rookie contenders have arisen and by next week, a few of them will emerge as contenders.

Wyatt Brown is becoming a force in the economy sprints. Brown picked up the exciting main event win last Friday night.

Sacramento's Brian Compton is back up front in the Hobby Stock points. There is a three way tie currently with Cy Cooper, Kyle Allen and James West locked in with 47 points.

This Friday night will mark the first championship point night for the street stock division.

Dwarf cars are becoming a staple at Dennis Gage race tracks. This will already be the Dwarf Cars third race of the season at Chico.
