This past Saturday night, Henry picked up his first career winged 360 sprint car victory at Petaluma Speedway. Chico’s Kenny Allen and Oakdale’s Shawn Conde round out the top five.
Corey Hall leads the Street Stock division into action at Silver Dollar Speedway this Friday night. In four starts, Hall has racked up two wins. He holds an 11-point edge over Chico’s Clinton Earl. Earl has three top-five finishes but still looking to park his car in victory lane. Three-time and defending champ Phil Marino of Chico has two wins this season but is already 15-points back of Hall. Marino is tied with Live Oak veteran Ken Micheli. Brent Lawrence sits in the fifth spot.
The Earl’s Plumbing Hobby Stock division is led by Jeremy Langenderfer. His two main event wins, in three starts, gives him a firm grasp at the top of the points. Mel Byers is 16-points behind Langenderfer and holds down the second spot. James West is currently third.
The IMCA Sport Mod division is led by Yuba City’s Brian Cooper in his AutoMaxx No. 17c. Cooper has one win in five starts.
