After winning three of the last four shows, Sean Becker sits atop the winged 360 sprint car driver standings. Becker holds a 34-point edge over track rival Andy Forsberg. Longtime point leader Kyle Offill has slipped to third but still has a mathematical chance at the championship. Youngsters Blake Carrick and Angelo Cornett round out the top five. Both show a ton of promise and will soon end up in victory lane. This race is the final tune up for Gold Cup for the sprint cars.
Matt Micheli has won five of the six street stock main events this year and leads the points by a sizeable margin. Richard Workman and Ken Micheli are tied for second. Gary Newman and Brent Lawrence round out the top five.
The Kyle Allen express continues to roll. He is now eight for eight when it comes to winning Hobby Stock main events. He is so dominant there is an extra $100 on the line if anyone else can beat him. If not, Allen collects an extra $100 on Friday for the win. James West and Shannon Collins will look to finally beat Allen. Defending winner of the Pepsi trophy is Kyle Allen.
Matt Micheli has a commanding lead over Scott Savell in the IMCA Sport Mod division. Micheli has three wins during the eight races this season. Local Tyler Rodgers sits 20-points back of Savell for second. Timothy Allerdings and Andrew Peckham round out the top five. Jimmy Ford is the defending winner of the Pepsi Trophy.
