Shelby’s Pest Control Official Sponsor of Hobby Stocks
Chico, CA – (4-20-22) …Shelby’s Pest Control is committed to improving the overall pay for the Hobby Stock division at Silver Dollar Speedway. This upcoming season, Shelby’s Pest Control is adding an extra $300 per race for the Hobby Stocks.
The extra money breakdown looks like this; $100 to the winner of the main even, $60 to second and $40 to the third-place finishers. An extra $50 towards the hard charger and $50 to the hard luck driver of the night. This is on top of the normal purse offered for the night.
“It is important for us to work with local businesses in Chico and get them involved at the Silver Dollar Speedway,� said track announcer Troy Hennig. “The Hobby Stock division is popular with the fans and usually generates a large car count at each race.�
The Hobby Stock division will attack the famed quarter-mile clay oval speedway five different times in 2022. The first point race is scheduled for Friday, April 29th. The next two races take place in June on the 3rd and 17th. The Hobby Stocks will be a featured attraction at the Monday July 4th race. The final event is slated for August 26th.
