Chico, CA – (5-2-22) …Philip Shelby won both Friday and Saturday night B mod main events at Silver Dollar Speedway to take the point championship lead. Shelby started third in the 20-lap Saturday night feature and by lap six he was the leader. Keith Foux battled him all race long but was never able to make a pass for the lead stick. Late in the race Mark Garner passed Matt Michel for third. A solid total of 16 B mods competed Saturday night during the David Tarter Memorial.

Shelby has 200 total championship points. Foux sits second with 192 points. Third is Matt Micheli at 186. Mark Garner has the fourth spot locked in with 184 points. Scott Savell rounds out the top five with 174 points.
