Justin Sanders and Zach Lindgren Lead Points

 Chico, CA – (5-2-22) …After four nights of racing, Justin Sanders has emerged as the driver to beat at Silver Dollar Speedway in the sprint car division. In four starts, Sanders has finished in the top five all four races. In comparison, the next two best drivers are Sean Becker and Shane Golobic who have two top five finishes. Sanders has amassed 388 total championship points. Trailing him by 46-points is Ryan Bernal. The next three in points are Becker, Golobic, and Tanner Carrick. A total of 69 different drivers have earned championship points in just four races thus far.

The next two nights of point racing for the winged sprint cars are the Summer Nationals set to take place June 3^rd and June 4^th.

Zach Lindgren won the Friday night Hobby Stock feature event presented by Shelby’s Pest Control and is the current point leader at Silver Dollar Speedway. Lindgren has 100 total points.  Just four points back is Clinton Earl. Former champion Kyle Allen sits third and is just six points behind. Travis Moore and Maurice Merrill round out the top five. A solid 20 cars entered the first Friday night point show of the year.

Four more events are scheduled for the Hobby Stocks this season. The next race is scheduled for June 3^rd, part of the Summer Nationals.
