Tyler Wolf Memorial Fan and Race Team Information
CHICO, Calif., Aug 23, 2023…Auto racing resumes at the Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday night, August 25th, with the rescheduled Tyler Wolf Memorial for the 360ci Western Sprint Tour Oregon Speedweek sprint cars. Joining the docket are the IMCA Northern Sport Mods and the Hobby Stocks.
This Friday marks the 10th time the speedway has hosted the Wolf Memorial.
Mittry Construction has jumped on board to elevate the 360-winged sprint car purse. Mittry has added an extra $500 to the main event winner on Friday night. The winner will now receive $2,500. Mittry is also giving an extra $190 to the leader of the 19th lap. This year Mittry wants to offer the Tyler Wolf Challenge. Please read below for more details on the challenge.
RACE INFORMATION
The pit gate will open at 2 PM. Mandatory driver’s meeting at 4:45 PM. SLC Promotions will have a STRICT time schedule to help move the show along in a timely manner. 360 engine heat 5:15 PM. Hot laps for all divisions to follow. As of now, the kids bike night races will take place following B main events. Please come out to the front stretch and interact with the kids.
RACE HAULERS
Race Teams: Please use the Costco entrance area once again to access the pit area. Take the Martin Luther King Pkwy and turn in between Costco and the Water District building. Please no parking in reserved spots. ALL Hobby Stock Tour drivers please park on the outskirts of turns three and four. IMCA Sport Mods can park anywhere there is not a reserved spot.
FAN INFORMATION
The front gate will open at 5 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the front box office starting at 5 PM at the Silver Dollar Speedway. Seating is general admission.
CAMPING
Camping is available over by the Remote-Control track side of the fairgrounds. It is $50.00 a night. Please pay at the pit gate. Provide where you are camping and what spot.
TYLER WOLF CHALLENGE
Presented by Mittry Construction. The winner of the winged sprint car dash will have the opportunity to start 19th in the upcoming main event. If the challenge is accepted, that driver will then earn $190 per car they pass during the main event. If that driver can get past sixth spot, Mittry will then pay double per position, so $380 per position once inside the top five. If this driver can win the main event, the win would be worth well over $7,000. If the winner declines, Mittry will offer it to the second-place finisher of the dash.
