Oswego Speedway
Thank You, Mackenzie! Mackenzie Coleman Retires After 13 Years as Oswego Speedway Trophy Girl
FROM MACKENZIE:
First and foremost I would like to thank all those that have taken the time to reach out over the past two weeks in my absence at the track. It is greatly appreciated and very heartwarming to know that my presence has been missed.
With that being said I'd just like to update everyone that after 13 dedicated years at Oswego Speedway I have officially decided to retire. This is a personal choice I have made and it is to focus on my health as well as my future. I will always love Supermodifieds there is absolutely no doubt about that as well as Oswego Speedway. As many of you know this is a passion I've had since I was a young girl. I will be forever thankful for the memories that I have made over the past 13 years being able to do something that I loved as well as growing up at a place that is right in my backyard. But also, for the friendships that have turned into family is something that I can truly never replace.
I would really like to thank those that have supported me in this endeavor over the years and helped me along the way. It's not always as easy as taking a picture at the end of the night as many people believe it to be. I'd personally like to thank Debbie Bond, Carol Haynes, Steve Pryor and Danny K for all your help and support over the years. You were always there when I needed a question answered or needed an extra push in the right direction. Carlee and Carlee, if I could go back to the beginning and do it all over again I'd do it in a heart beat! We had some of the best times and thank you for some of the best memories!
To Eric and Johnny, thank you for the opportunity you have given me over the past 13 years. We've been thru a lot and I wouldn't change it for anything. You made a little girls dream come true and for that I'll forever be grateful for. Thank you for always being there when I needed you both the most and for friends that really truly turned into family!
Most importantly to my mom, thank you for always making sure every outfit was picked perfectly, ironed and packed away each and every Saturday. You got me thru every Classic weekend caution free from green to checkered! But most of all thank you for always being my rock, my biggest cheerleader and loving me thru thick and thin! I love you!
I'd like to wish everyone a good luck with the rest of the 2023 season and be safe!
