Caylee Demm to Take Over Track Management Role at Oswego Speedway

OSWEGO, NY (November 15, 2024) - Oswego Speedway is excited to announce that Caylee Demm will be stepping into a key track management role at the Speedway. With deep-rooted family ties to the racing community and years of experience in the sport, Demm will oversee office management, assist with marketing efforts, and serve as a central point of contact for all aspects of the Speedway's operations.

Caylee's responsibilities will include marketing, overseeing Speedway email communications, coordinating rentals with teams, and managing ticket and camping sales. She will also play an instrumental role in ensuring the facility runs efficiently and serves as a premier destination for racing fans and teams alike moving forward.

"I’m so excited and grateful for this opportunity, and I’m looking forward to leaving my mark on the Speedway," Demm said. "My parents and extended racing family helped me to create a love for Supermodified racing that comprises many of my favorite childhood memories. My parents owned race cars that were driven by various drivers over the years, and growing up, there was nowhere else I would’ve rather spent my Saturday nights. As an adult, I still feel the same way, especially now that I get to support my two younger cousins, Talen and Dawson Hawksby."

Caylee's connection to Oswego Speedway dates back to 2011, when she began as a trophy girl for the Speedway under the ownership of John and Eric Torrese. She continued in this role for four seasons (2011-2014) and will now become a key figure in the Speedway’s operations.

Demm is excited to continue the long-standing traditions of the Oswego Speedway while also working to develop new initiatives that benefit both the racing community and the surrounding areas. She shared, "I am thankful that the Torrese Family has faith in me to carry this passion into a professional realm now, where I hope to continue executing long-standing traditions here at the Speedway for our loyal race fans, while also creating new endeavors for our community and the surrounding areas.”
