California Hall of Fame Night
This is not how we had hoped for Saturday night to go in the #12B Jim Blakesley Racing / Don Blair Special sprint car at Perris Auto Speedway, but as the saying goes that is racing.
I can not apologize enough to my crew, my Dad, friends Tim, Jon, and car owner Jim Blakesley. We worked real hard to put a good car under me and felt like it would be a solid night. However, during lap 2 of qualifying things got a bit touchy and the wall and I had a meeting. I know you hear it a lot that crashing is part of learning but we are a small budget team and I hate tearing up equipment we do not have. The damage was enough to sideline us for the evening and be a spectator to one heck of race.
I have to thank all those who have helped me this year. Being a sophomore in the USAC CRA Sprint Car Series and reigning Rookie of the Year I was hoping to prove so much more. For everyone who has stood by me, Thank You.
This ends our hopes of attending California Sprint Week and we are making plans to see what we can do to finish the year out. If anyone has an open seat for any of the Sprint Week races and looking for a driver I am available, pm me.
Thank you to all our sponsors;
