Race Notes 7.13.18

Late Models:

Petyak to the lead earlyy with Flinner close by. .  Petyak spins in front of th eleaders and misses everyone.  Caution two laps down.

It takes Norris fie laps to catch Colton Flinner.   Tihgt three car battle between Flinner,  Lux and NorrisCaution for Ken Schaltenbrand in turn four. seven laps down.

Flinner and Norrison the restart and they're battling. Norris emerges with the lead on lap 10.

Halfway home.  This race is over. Lap 16 caution.

Lap 20, red flag for John Wever and Clay Ruffo. Lux is giving it all he's got, but it won't be enough.....NOrris takes it.

Modifidds:

Regalski leads em to the green. Mollick is your early leader.  and a pair of Kings are on the move.  King Jr takes secon dfrom regalski with three laps down.  but out front, MOllick has a pretty ealthy advantage. .  Caution for AJ Flick in turn four with a spin. five laps down.

Restart

King Jr has been eyeing a way around and under Mollick. He finds it. But Mollick will not go quietly with seven laps in the books, they're door to door. .  King makes th epass for good on lap nine.  or so we think. Millick now trying him on the inside. . Krummert and Shingledecker are moving quickly forward. . Krummert now up to fourth and looking for third. he's got it with 12 lps down, hunting Mollick now, Krummert is working the bottom. . top three now running together. they'r ereaeling in King a little. 15 laps down. . They will need a restart or heavy lappers.   Mollick not going away still..., but not much in the way of lappers to use. .  Caution for a Jeff Miller spin in turn four.

Restart. Krummert  with a great restart, he's taking a stapb at the leader. . Mollick slipped back to fourth.  Caution for Walters.  22 laps down

King Jr. Pegs it. . Krummert looking into his bag of tricks. .  King Jr wins

 

Sprints:

 

Bowser and Matus bring em to green.

Bowser with the early lead. he's hauling th email around the top of the speedway. . Matus runs second. Spithaler taking third over Garvin Jr.   Sodeman approaching Garvin Jr too. . Meanwhile, we're three laps in and . Shetler is moving forward with ahthority for a third week in a row from the  mid pack. H'e s fifth onlap seven as Bowser enters lapped traffic, Spithaler now second and Sodeman Jr now third. Bowser is  butter in lapped traffic. , three second lead over Spithaler. .  Spithaler in bad need of a caution.  10 laps down. More lappers for th eleader.  Halfway home...Bowser is on a mission.  te laps to go for Bowser....   Bowser now with half a track...it's not even funny....  five left for Bowser....it's not going to be close at all this is half a track.

Caution for Bill Kiley with 22 down.

Restart.

.  Bowser gets a good jump Sodeman takes secon dfrom Spithaler. . yellow.

Bowser gets snookered.

Stocks: Ryan Moyer was th eearly leader McPherson takes his lead away. six laps down. Behid the top two, Jason Fosnaught subbing for McDonald is rolling and taking second away from Moyer, He's starting to hunt McPherson.  with eight laps down.   Caution Close went right threough Lambert but nothing called. .  nine laps down caution.  . Dietz now up to sixth. .  McDonald takes the lead with 10 laps down.  Caution halfway home.  Fosnaught is  running a near flawless race. . McPherson runs second, Brunell third, Dietz fourth. . Dietz is working on Brunell for third. . 17 down, it's Fosnaught's to lose and he's  setting a good pace. Dietz wrests third from Brunell

Caution. Green wite checkered restart.    Brunell back aroun dDietz.
