Bleacher Improvements & New Clay

Thanks to the fine folks at Peoples Natural Gas, the Lernerville Speedway crew is hard at work installing new bleacher boards along the front straightaway.  Peoples Natural Gas is committed to making Lernerville Speedway a safer venue for fans of the local racing community.  Peoples is committed to investing in communities organizations and they've been invaluable marketing partners since signing on as division sponsor of the 410 Sprints in 2013.  In joint fundraising ventures, Lernerville and Peoples has raised thousands of dollars for the Dollar Energy Fund which helps heat homes and repair or replace furnaces for low income families.

The Lernerville crew is also hard at working running in truck loads of new red clay that was recently delivered by Terry Bowser Excavating.  Terry is a former 410 Sprint Car driver and father of 2014 Sprint Car Track Champion Carl Bowser.

Opening Night of Fab4 Racing Fueled by Turner's Premium Iced Teas is less than two weeks away on Friday, April 15.  Before the big night, however, drivers will have an opportunity to shake down their racecars at the annual Test & Tune Practice Session scheduled for Saturday, April 9 from 12:00-4:00PM.  General Admission will be free for all ages, but the weekly fee will still apply for pit passes; $20 for DIRTcar members and $30 for non-members.  Office personnel will be on hand to accept driver registrations and DIRTcar memberships and tech inspectors will be on hand to inspect racecars in advance of Opening Night.
