Meanwhile, it is also Twin State Auto Club Night as well. All current members will be admitted free with their membership card.
But that's not all fans have to look forward to. Â Another round of 'Meet The Drivers" is scheduled to take place as drivers from the Peoples Natural Gas DIRTcar Sprints will be on hand to meet and chat as well as sign autographs. Some drivers will even have tshirts for sale as well. Â Drivers will be available after their hot lap session, underneath the grandstand near the picnic table area for a few minutes before they prepare to do battle.
And of course, the Fab Four Fueled by Turner's Premium Iced Tea will be on hand as drivers now have just four weeks to make their move towards a title. Friday's running order will be kicked off with the Late Models followed by the Big Block Modifieds, Sprints and Pro Stocks.

When last we left off, Jack Sodeman Jr. was busy wiring the field en route to his second victory of the year which pulled the point battle even closer. It's a three car chase for the title as AJ Flick, Dan Shetler and Sodeman are separated by a mere 13 points.
Thus far, Sodeman leads the way with two feature wins on the season while Flick, Shetler, Dan Kuriger, and Central PA invaders Logan Wagner and Dylan Cisney are all tied with one win each. Â Gary Kreiss and Cory Good have both been close to feature wins this season and have been among the fastest cars on the track at various points of the season and they'll be looking to find Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane before the regular season ends.

Michael Norris has been winning at a 66 rate in 2017, taking four out of the six features in the division. He currently leads Alex Ferree by 33 points coming into the week though and while that seems like a large margin, it's not insurmountable by any stretch. Â It's not that Ferree hasn't been impressive this year, he's achieved a fair amount of feature wins at other tracks, but he has finished second to Norris three times so far and will need to convert some of those performances into wins in the final five weeks to give himself a chance to take another track championship.
Russ King remains the only other regular competitor to take a feature win this season while Matt Lux has been close on a few occasions but has come home empty handed thus far. Lux has managed a feature win in each of the last two seasons and will look to keep that streak going down the final stretch.

There's just not much left to say about the amazing season Mat Williamson has had to this date. He's racked up seven wins in eight tries, and has pulled off two consecutive charges from the back of the field en route to victory lane. Â He'll be chasing history over the final five weeks in terms of feature wins in a season.
Behind him, Brian Swartzlander remains the only other driver to take a feature victory this season and is currently 36 points back of Williamson in the title chase. Jeremiah Shingledecker has been fast since some new equipment and an engine came his way a few weeks ago and will be looking to extend his streak of winning at least one feature event in a season as the season winds down.

Brian Swartzlander-246

Corey McPherson has turned in a typical McPherson type season to this point, which is to say of the dominant variety once again. McPherson has five feature wins thus far and a 40 plus point lead over three time feature winner Tyler Dietz who currently resides in second place in the season standings. Â Aaron Easler has the other feature win this year.
Dietz is the most recent winner as the Pro Stocks were part of the Modified Mania card, but he will have to keep winning  to have a good chance at running down the leader. As the season starts winding down, look for some drivers who have not found victory lane yet to make a strong push.  Terry Young, Joe Kelley, Jim Fosnaught and Joey Zambotti among others, normally have at least one win to this point of the season, but have yet to cross under the checkered flag first in 2017 so far.
Points Coming Into Friday
Corey McPherson- 308
Tyler Dietz- 266
Aaron Easler- 260
Joey Zambotti- 237
Joe Kelley-212
