Lernerville Preview: Twin Stock Showdowns Highlight Autumn-Motive Fest Action

Sarver, PA (September 14, 2017) The 2017 version of the annual Autumn-Motive fest has a little something for everyone. But at the core of the September Classic, are the Pro Stocks. Fans can expect two outstanding fields of them on Saturday night as the Homak Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks join the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks for two complete shows which will both feature group time trials in addition to heat races and two 25-lap main events.
For the Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks, this Saturday has some increased emphasis as the series is in a stretch run to the finish. And, the top three drivers in the standings, points leader Rusty Martz, second running Bobby Whitling and Rusty Moore are separated by just 19 points with three races to go.  For the DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks, it's a battle for the bragging rights as $1,200 will go home with the main event winner as well as the coveted title of Autumn-Motive Fest Feature Winner.  In addition to the two main events, there will also be a Lernerville non-winners race and fans will be able to see the best of the best go head to head in the King of the 'Ville tournament style event at the conclusion of the night.

Joining both sets of Stocks on Saturday night will be the RUSH Sportsman Modifeds and the RaceSaver Sprints, who make their second appearance of the season. So far this year, Rocky Kugel has taken three victories in competition at Lernerville with Anthony Gillespie also scoring a feature victory on June 30th. The last time the RaceSaver 305 Sprints visited The Action Track, Drew Ritchey wound up in Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane, besting a 14 car field.

Pits will open at 4 PM with grandstands opening at 5 PM and group hot laps and time trialing set to commence at 6:30 PM.

Adult general admission is $14, $11 for seniors, $7 for students and children 10 and under are free of charge. Pit pass prices will be $30 for DIRTcar members and $35 for non-members.

Before racing action begins, be sure to stop by our Inaugural Ribfest and Chili Cook Off which will be taking place between 9 AM and 3 PM featuring not only great food offerings from local vendors, but also an outdoor vendor show, a classic and show car display and some children's activities brought to us by our friends at Peoples Natural Gas. Come join the fun all day long, and see some fantastic racing action that night as Autumn-Motive Fest takes center stage.
