Sarver, PA (April 16, 2019) Drivers in the Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprints will have a new challenge in 2019 to look forward to as a new incentive rolls out for the coming season. The FENCE by Maintenance Service Sprint To Checkers Challenge will provide opportunities for drivers cash in on a rolling bonus throughout the season.
A driver of the night will be drawn before the night of racing begins and should they cross the finish line first in that evening's main event, they'll receive something extra for the effort. The challenge will start on opening night (Friday, April 19) and will see the bonus set at $200. To be eligible, a driver must be in the top 10 in points for the season. If the selected driver wins the feature, they'll collect what has accumulated to that point of the season. Should the selected driver fail to win that night's main event, an extra $100 gets added to the pot for the next Fab4 Friday night.
If the selected driver collects the bonus cash at the end of the night, the fund will start over with $100 on the next race night. If the bonus is not claimed on any Fab4 event night, then on the final weekly night of points racing (Friday, August 23), the entire bonus for the season will go to the highest finishing driver in the point standings.
The incentive program was made possible by David L. Hartman, president of FENCE by Maintenance Service. Originally called, Maintenance Service Company, the business was started in 1957 by Robert Hartman. He first started the business as a supply and service company for municipalities in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area which specializes in professional fence installation. You can find out more about the company at their website here: FENCE by Maintenance Service
