Sarver, PA (April 18, 2019) The time has come to lift the lid on the 2019 season at Lernerville Speedway! The Action Track swings back into action on Friday night as the Fab4 Revved up with Marburger Farm Dairy takes center stage. The Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprints, Precise Racing DIRTcar Late Models, Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds and the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks will all be in action for the first time in 2019, although some of the drivers have been out and about at different tracks earlier this season and enjoying success.
Fab4 Drivers Finding Success Early
Among those drivers who have been getting some early seat time, is Pro Stock driver Joey Zambotti who is currently riding a dominant four race winning streak in action at Hagerstown Speedway. Zambotti is not alone in the win category as current and former Late Model track champions Michael Norris and Alex Ferree have managed one win apiece at Port Royal Speedway to start their 2019 campaigns. On the sprint side of things, three time and defending track champion AJ Flick has been in the thick of things at Port Royal Speedway and currently finds himself seventh in the point standings. Meanwhile, Sye Lynch, Jack Sodeman Jr. and Brandon Matus each found the top 10 at Wayne County Speedway last Saturday night. Modified champion Rex King Jr. has one win in the books as well after taking the victory at Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday night in BRP Modified Tour action.
Sprint To Checkers Challenge Commences Friday Night
There will be some extra cash up for grabs for the Peoples Gas Sprint Car feature winners in 2019 as the Sprint to Checkers Challenge presented by FENCE by Maintenance Service ramps up this Friday night. Drivers in the top 10 in points will be able to draw to be selected as the driver of the night and should they cross the finish line first, they will see a weekly bonus. The season starts with a $200 bonus in the pot for opening night and will increase by $100 a week until the selected driver wins.
