Autism Awareness Night Grows; Kickoff to Western PA Speedweek Now at Lernerville
With the first two rounds of the all new Western PA Sprint Car Speedweek falling victim to Mother Nature, the mini-series of high-paying events will now launch at Lernerville Speedway, tomorrow June 4th. Additionally, several local businesses have stepped up to boost the attendance and the number of competitors for the annual Autism Awareness Night.
MORE PURSE INCREASES FOR TOMORROW's FAB4 DIVISIONS: Bill Errera Towing and Service has just added a $1,000 Bonus for the winner of the DIRTcar Big Block Modified feature race, AND a $50 bonus to each finisher from 2nd place through 11th place. That's a total of $1,500 added to the Modified purse alone!
Mike Wetzel and Terry's Towing added a $250 bonus to the winner's paycheck for the Pro Stocks, and a $250 bonus for the driver placing tenth. After this announcement, Bill Errera Towing and Service matched those purse increases, adding ANOTHER $250 bonus to the winner and ANOTHER $250 bonus to the 10th place finisher.
Long time Lernerville Speedway supporter, Thrower Concrete and Ready Mix has added a $1,000 bonus to the winner's paycheck for the Late Model division. This increase means that every division of race car will be competing for more money when the green flag waves at 7:30pm
These latest bonus additions are an effort to bring more race teams and more fans for our annual Autism Awareness Night! Bringing more race teams and more race fans will help boost the auction and raffle ticket sales, from which proceeds benefit Autism Awareness.
