Sarver, PA (June 10, 2021) The pyrotechnics look to be plentiful both in the sky and on the track on Friday night as our Fan Appreciation Night featuring Fireworks presented by #1 Cochran Automotive graces the clay at The Action Track. The battles on the track look to be heating up as we make our way to some very important events in the coming weeks as well. Friday night's racing program could see some invaders dropping by in all divisions as tune ups and seat time for the 15th annual Firecracker 100 and 30th annual Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup grows more crucial. Meanwhile, fans will not only be treated to a fantastic fireworks display, but also an unveiling of the latest cars available through #1 Cochran as they parade around the speedway for all to see.
Taking the track on Friday night will be the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Precise Racing Products Late Models, and the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds. The Millerstown Pic-A-Part Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks will be taking Friday night off to compete in the Homak Penn-Ohio Pro Stock Steel Valley Nationals at Sharon Speedway this weekend. Meanwhile, making their first appearance of the 2021 season will be the Allegheny Sprint Tour 305 Sprint Cars who will battle for an extra $100 to win bonus on top of their normal purse thanks to #1Cochran Automotive.
Heading into action this Friday, Sye Lynch and AJ Flick lead the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars into battle, in a hotly contested battle with each driver tied with 133 points. Alex Ferree currently leads the Precise Racing Products Late Model standings by a three-point margin over Colton Flinner, and holds nine markers ahead of two-time defending champion Ken Schaltenbrand. In the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, 2020 champion Garrett Krummert leads two-time champion Jeremiah Shingledecker by five points.
Pits will open at 4 PM on Friday night with grandstands opening at 5 PM and racing at 7:30 PM. Adult general admission is $15, $12 for seniors, $10 for students ages 11-17 and children 10 and under are FREE.
Fans who are unable to attend are still able to watch via our own pay per view channel at Lernerville.TV. Event nights can be purchased for $20 or monthly subscriptions for $30.
