Sarver, PA (June 8, 2022) This Friday, June 10, is always one of the most anticipated Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy nights on the Lernerville Speedway schedule as we pay homage to the greatest race fans in the world as #1 Cochran presents our annual ˜Fan Appreciation Night at ˜The Action Track! As is the tradition on Fan ˜Appreciation Night, fans will get to enjoy a gorgeous Fireworks display once the sun sets.
After his winless championship season in 2021, A.J. Flick now has three wins at Lernerville Speedway in 2022 and again leads the Peoples Natural Gas Sprints standings by 19-points over Sye Lynch. Carl Bowser sits third, 20 points behind Flick as Brandon Matus and Jack Sodeman, Jr., are fourth and fifth respectively. Flick will look to continue his hot streak while the field attempts to visit Terry Bowser Victory Lane for the first time in 2022 in Fab4 action.
Last week, the fireworks kicked off early as Michael Norris and Colton Flinner, two former champions of the Precise Racing Products Late Models, got together in heat race action which led to tempers flaring and words being exchanged. The timing of a brewing rivalry couldnt be better as the $50,000 to-win, ˜Firecracker 100 presented by Big River Steel featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, is only two weeks away. Despite the conflict between Norris and Flinner, Jared Miley leads the way in the standings with Alex Ferree only one point behind. Colton Flinner and Matt Lux are third and fourth just six points behind and in fifth is John Garvin who is a mere eight points back of Miley.
With last Fridays win, Jeremiah Shingledecker broke a tie atop the Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds standings with Brad Rapp. After Shingledeckers first win of the 2022 season, he now holds a seven-point lead over Rapp with Rex King, Jr., in third. Brian Swartzlander is fourth with Dave Murdick, who has one win on the season, in fifth.
In the Millerstown Pro Stocks, Tyler Dietz continues to lead the way with his three wins and no finishes worse than fourth on the young season. Following Dietz in second is Todd Weldon, who has also had a very strong start to the year with only one finish outside of the top-five. Joey Zambotti is third with last weeks winner, Chris Schneider, in fourth while Brett McDonald rounds out the top-five.
