˜He was a bear of man with a big soft heart, said RUSH Co-Director Vicki Emig, the daughter of Bill Emig. ˜I think the hardest part of what I do today is knowing that my dad isn't here to see what is truly his legacy, I was literally a baby when my dad started taking me to the races; my mom never liked racing so it was just him and I. Emig continued, ˜Imagine a young guy in his early 20s bundling up his little girl and off to the races they would go. Throughout all those years he fielded a car, he never once left me home! I wish our RUSH drivers could have known Bill Emig, but more importantly, know without him, there would be no RUSH!
Logan Roberson leads the way in the RUSH Touring Series Championship Point standings with Joe Martin in second. Brady Wonderling is third just ahead of Jeremy Wonderling and Breyton Santee who rounds out the top-five after seven 2022 events.
