Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks Take Center Stage this Friday at Lernerville Speedway!

Sarver, PA (August 3, 2022) Lernerville Speedway opens the month of August with ˜Big Rig Night presented by Mikes Truck Service & Sales as the Homak Penn/Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series powered by Can-Am join the Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy weekly divisions.
As the Homak Pro Stocks roll into ˜The Action Track, Hunter Exley leads the overall championship standings by only two points over Jackson Humanic in second. Chris McGuire is only six points behind Humanic in third with Bobby Whitling in fourth and Joshua Seippel rounding out the top-five. Many of Lernerville Speedways and other top Pro Stock drivers in the area will be gunning for the $1,000 top prize at the end of the 25-lap finale.
Also, on the card this upcoming Friday are the Peoples Natural Gas Sprints, Precise Racing Products Late Models, and the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds. With only three points nights remaining, point leaders are looking to solidify their stronghold on their point advantages.
A.J. Flick continues to lead the Peoples Sprints championship points after his sixth win of the 2022 season last week. Darin Gallagher in second, 48 points back with Jack Sodeman, Jr., in third. Carl Bowser is fourth, just two points behind Sodeman with Dan Shetler sitting fifth, just one point behind Bowser.
John Garvin, Jr., extended his Precise Late Models point lead to 33 points over Colton Flinner after his fifth-place finish on July 29. Flinner has a 13 point advantage over Logan Zarin while Levi Yetter sits just 2 points ahead of Alex Ferree who is fifth. Garvin, Zarin, and Yetter are all looking for their first Championship.
Jeremiah Shingledecker used last weeks win to also extend his point lead from nine points to 25 points over Dave Murdick and now, Garrett Krummert who is tied with Murdick. Brian Swartzlander is 38 points back of Shingledecker and only 13 points behind Murdick and Krummert for second. Chas Wolbert is 56 points back in fifth but is still mathematically alive for the championship as well.
The closest points battle is in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks as Tyler Dietz holds a 14-point lead over Todd Weldon and a 17-point advantage over last weeks winner, Chris Schneider. Brett McDonald is fourth, 64 points back and Joey Zambotti, 70 points back, is fifth. However, with the Homak Pro Stocks in town, this Friday will be ˜show-up points only for the Millerstown Pro Stocks.
Pit gates for this Fridays Big Rig Night presented by Mikes Truck Service & Sales featuring the Homak Pro Stocks powered by Can-Am and the Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy will open at 4:00 p.m. with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps are slated to begin at 6:50 and racing to begin at 7:30 p.m. Children 10 and under, as always are admitted FREE with General Admission set at $15 for all ages 11 and up. Pit passes for all will continue to be $30.
This Fridays action will be livestreamed on Lernerville.TV. The Pre-Race Show will go live on LernervilleTV around 6:30 to preview the nights racing and talk to some of the stars of the nights action! Single race passes are available for $20, but the better deal is the monthly subscription for just $10 more; $30 gets you a full month of Fab4 Racing Revved Up with the Marburger Farm Dairy.
