Stars Will Shine Bright on Wednesday Night as Castrol FloRacing Night in America Invades Action Track

Sarver, PA (August 19, 2024) The stars of the Late Model world will be shining bright on Wednesday night as Castrol FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota invades The Action Track for the first time in both the state of Pennsylvania and Lernerville Speedway. The lineup should read like a who's who of the best Late Model pilots in the world and the best drivers from around the region and locally as well as the $20,000 top prize is expected to bring a diverse group of talent. Joining the Late Model action will be the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks who will be battling in a complete $1,000-to-win program
Series' Fourth Round will be Wednesday
The series will be entering it's fourth round on Wednesday as drivers will be battling to improve their positions in the standings for what is a very lucrative payout at the end of the season with over $137,000 doled out to the top 10 drivers in the standings including a winner's share of $50,000. Coming into Wednesday night, Firecracker 100 winner Ricky Thornton Jr. brings a nine point lead with him in the early going. Lernerville was originally scheduled to be the eighth round of the series, however, four postponements in the first half of the season schedule have altered things a bit. Following Wednesday, six scheduled races will remain with the final leg wrapping up the season at Senoia Raceway on November 16.
Who To Expect
National talent will be in abundance on Wednesday night as a mix of top performers from the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series and World of Outlaws Late Models should be in the pits. Both series will have weekend events within three and a half hours of Lernerville, meaning the race conveniently placed between the two series making for an easy drive over. There will also be some drivers who either haven't raced at Lernerville before or years have passed since their last visit. Bobby Pierce and Jason Feger, both in the hunt for the championship, both fall into that category and will definitely earn some new fans on Wednesday night. Also expected are two time Firecracker 100 winner Tim McCreadie, Brandon Sheppard, Tyler Erb, Daulton Wilson, Rick Eckert, Devin Moran and Garrett Alberson. From around the area, youngster Drake Troutman will be looking to score a huge payday and has had lots of success in his early career thus far at Lernerville during special events. Gregg Satterlee and Max Blair will also be making the haul to take their crack at a huge payday as well as four time and defending track champion Michael Norris.

Fans can still purchase tickets in advance online and receive not only savings over race day prices, but also will receive a free fan pit pass upgrade. Reserved tickets in advance are $40 while advance general admission tickets are $30. Tickets on the day of the race will be sold for $45 and $35 respectively. Pit passes will be available for $50. Pits will open at 3 PM on Wednesday with grandstands opening at 5 PM. Qualifying is currently scheduled for 6:30 PM followed by opening ceremonies, and racing. For those who cannot attend in person, the entire night of racing will be available for viewing at FloRacing.com.
