April 6th and 7th Practices Cancelled

Willamette Speedway Cancels Play Days

Lebanon, Oregon- The Willamette Speedway has cancelled the April 6th and 7th Test and Tune events due to weather. The 1/3-mile clay oval hopes to have their first race of the season on Saturday the 13th for the “Cabin Fever” Season Opener. Sunday the 14th will host a practice for the Karts if the weather will allow. Classes that will be in action for the first race are the DIRTcar Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks.

Prices for the race are $14.00 for Adults, Senior/Military/Junior (13-17) $12.00, and Youths (12 and Under) $6.00. A Family Pass is offered for $35.00 which includes two Adults and up to four Youths. On Saturday the Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM and Racing around 6:00 PM. For Sunday’s Kart practice the times are scheduled to be from Noon until 4:00 PM. Car and driver entries are $20.00 and Pit Passes will cost $10.00.

The Willamette Speedway has operated since the 1960’s and is a facility where high car counts and great racing are the norm. The venue will hosts weekly action comprising of DIRTcar Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Sports, Street Stocks, and Mini Trucks.
