Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway will return to racing on Friday July 11th for the fifth race of the season for the Karts while on Saturday the 12th will be Historical Night. Classes on the card Saturday include the X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Models, Crocker’s Cars Super Sports, Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman, and 4-Cylinders. In addition some of the historic 1/3-mile’s legends will be on tap. It will be an evening reflecting the history of the decades long heritage of Willamette Speedway.

In the X-Factor Race Cars Super Late Models this year Joey Tanner leads in the victories department with three over Rob Mayea, who has two. Steve Moore, Collen Winebarger, John Duty, and his son Justin all have won once this season. In the Crocker’s Cars Super Sports Bricen James has found the winner’s circle four times while Gil Pickett has won twice. The only driver to have won once is Tim Archer.

In the Albany & Eastern Railroad Sportsman four drivers have won twice. That list includes Brian Winkler, Brian Smith, Jeff Rash, and Ron Berry. Jeff Marson and Briley Pompe are the only other drivers to visit victory lane on one occasion in 2014. Meanwhile in the 4-Cylinders Dale Holland has three races in four starts. The only driver to beat him yet is Travis Koch.

General admission to the Friday Kart race will be FREE of charge. Pit Passes are $10.00 and Car and Driver fees will be $30.00. The Pit Gate will open up around 4:00 PM and Racing is scheduled to begin around 6:30.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
