J.J. Irvine Has Great Start To 2015 Season
By Ben Deatherage
Lebanon, Oregon- In two races J.J. Irvine of Lebanon has two second place finishes. What is amazing is last weekend he didn't even intend on making it out to the track. This Saturday May 2nd Irvine will look to capture his first win of the season at Fight Hunger Night at Willamette Speedway.

“Last week I didn't plan on racing but around six o'clock I decided to fire up the car and drive a few blocks from my house,” said Irvine, “I've always wanted to do that.”

Last weekend Irvine, driving his Bullet Motorsports/Crocker's Cars/Bodies By Steve-O #K4 Camaro, charged from the back to finish a close second in an amazing run. This weekend will be the last time J.J. Will be in competition for a few weeks due to his work schedule so you know he wants to win this race.

“This year has been a nice start to the season and I really would like to get to victory lane before I take a couple of weeks off.”

In addition to Street Stocks this weekend there will be the Super Dirt Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, and Sportsman divisions. On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
