Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway is ready to get back to racing as two events will be held this coming weekend. First on Friday May 8th the historic 1/3-mile clay oval will host a Test N Tune practice from 4:00 PM to Dusk. Then Saturday, the 9th, it will be Ladies Night and all ladies get into the races for ONLY $5.00. The Super Dirt Late Models, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Street Stocks will all be on the card

General Admission to the practice on Friday is FREE for folks in the stands but Pit Passes are $15.00 each while the Car & Driver fee is $30.00. This event will last from 4:00 PM to Dusk.

The Super Dirt Late Models have had two races with two different winners. Rob Mayea and Trevor Glaser have been the two victors so far. Both drivers also have two top five's to their credit and they are having a great year. But the season is still early and there are plenty of other great drivers that will look to win this Saturday. Brian Cronk is one of them, charging towards the front ending the night second last weekend.

Like the Late Models the Super Sports have yet to produce a repeat winner. Chris Mott was victorious in the first race on April 18th and the most recent event, on April 25th, was won by Brian Smith. Will a third different winner visit victory lane this Saturday night?

After three races this year the Sportsman divsision also has yet to see a repeat winner. Dennis Archer got a big win last week after Tom Yeack led for much of the feature. Sandy Sanders won on the 25th of April while the first race of the season went to Jeff Rash driving for car owner Glen Hackney. Will Tom Yeack make it four for four or will someone else emerge victorious?

Finally the only repeat winner in any of the divisions is the Street Stocks. Justin Evans winning the first and most recent race. The only time he did not win he was not in attendance. That was the event on April 25th which had Steve Jorgensen win his first career main event. There are some drivers that are knocking on the door for their first win of the season including teenager Talyn Roberts.

On Saturday the Pit Gates will open at 1:00 PM, the Pit Meeting will take place at 2:30, Front Gates open at 3:30, and Racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $14.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
