Lebanon, Oregon- Off to hot start in 2015 Bend's Rob Mayea hopes to keep the momentum up headed into the Saturday May 9th Ladies Night event at Willamette Speedway. So far Mayea has yet to finish outside the top three. The first race back on April 18th he would be victorious and last weekend, on May 2nd, the J&S Farms/Cornett Racing Engines/Gray's Automotive #37 Rocket would place third. Also even finished fourth on April 4th for the first race of the season down in Cottage Grove.
I think we're doing well this year,” commented Mayea, “we had a fourth at Cottage Grove then a win at Willamette we're off to a good start and we'll just build off of that.”
Rob Mayea and Trevor Glaser are the only two drivers that have finished inside the top five for both races. Rob is very excited about this week's event and is hoping for another strong finish.
“I'd love to get another top five or top three,” he would continue, “a win would be nice but there is a bunch of good guys that race here every week. I hope to have a good finish and continue to have fun!”
