Wingless Sprints And More At Willamette Speedway This Saturday June 23rd

Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway fans will be treated to some heart pounding action at the historic 1/3-mile clay oval this Saturday, June 23rd. The cars and stars of the Wingless Sprint Series will invade Willamette Speedway for the first time in 2018. Also on the card will be the IMCA Sport Mods, Super Sports, Sportsman, and Hornets.
The Wingless Sprint Series is sure to wow and dazzle the crowd as these 360 Non-Wing Sprints negotiate the track at tops speeds. Two-time defending series champion Rob Lindsey has two victories with the WSS this year while Tim Alberding, Kyle Miller, and Lindsay Barney all have one.
B.J. Donofrio looks to continue his Willamette winning streak as he has conquered the field the last three events in the Super Sports. Chris Mott, Doug Elkins, and Randy Barley all have won once. The IMCA Sport Mods witnessed their newest winner last Saturday when Bruce Ray go the job done. Jorddon Braaten has an amazing three victories with Justin McCreadie and Mike Medel the two other one-time winners.
The trend of no repeat winners in the Sportsman continued last week with Randy Boyd joining Ryan Emry, Tom Yeack, James Slover, and Steve Piefer as 2018 winners. Eddie Farness became the first two-time Hornet winner during the current campaign. Single race victors include Josh Corley, Matt Diller, and James Donaldson.
Pit Gates open at 1:00 PM, Front Gates 3:30, and Racing at 6:00. Tickets are $14.00 for Adults, Junior/Military/Senior $10.00, Youth (6-12) $5.00, 5 and Under FREE, and a Family Pass (2 Adults and up to 4 Youths) $35.00.
