Lebanon, Oregon- Willamette Speedway would host the Mid-Season Championship, presented by the V-Foundation, on Saturday, July 7th. There would some great car counts on tap due to all six classes having some extra money up for grabs. The six division that inhabited the 1/3-mile clay oval were Super Late Models, IMCA Modifieds, Super Sports, Sportsman, Street Stocks, and Hornets. Also the fine folks at Crocker's Cars would do a massive bicycle giveaway for kids in attendance.

La Pine’s Trent Elliott would win for the second time in 2018 with the Super Late Models. Albany driver Dustin Cady swept the weekend in the IMCA Modifieds to record his fourth victory of the year. Albany’s Randy Barley returned to victory lane in the Super Sports for his second triumph of the current campaign.

James Slover, also of Albany and running for Clyde Rood, found victory lane for the second time in the Sportsman ranks. Also, getting their second victory in the Street Stocks was Dakota Godard, now living in Albany. Godard won in the IMCA Stock Cars the previous evening. Finally, Tracy Muse, whose currently resides in Plains, Montana, returned to the track he had so much success at over the years to win for the first time this year.

Willamette Speedway returns to racing on Wednesday, July 11th for the Western Sprint Tour’s Speedweek Northwest. This will be the one and only 360 Winged Sprint Car race of the season. Street Stocks, IMCA Stock Cars, and Hornets will all be on the card.

Front Gates open at 3:30 PM with Racing scheduled to get started around 6:00. Tickets are Adults $16.00, Junior/Military/Seniors $14.00, Youth $10.00, Kids 5 & Under FREE, and the Family Pass is $55.00. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pnwdirtracing.com .
