Night of Champions Awards Banquet Set for November 11
THOROLD, ONTARIO (October 24, 2023) … Merrittville Speedway will close the books on the 72nd season of racing in Niagara on Saturday, November 11, 2023, with the Night of Champions Awards Banquet. The event will take place at John Michaels Conference and Banquet Centre, 1368 Upper’s Lane in Thorold.
Tickets are $60 each, with doors opening at 5pm, dinner at 6pm, and awards to follow. For tickets and more information, contact Lorraine Spiece at lorraines@merrittvillespeedway.com or by phone at (905) 733-8197.
Mandatory attendance is required for perfect attendance and to receive point fund monies.
Pete Bicknell from St. Catharines, Ontario was the 2023 Corr/Pak Merchandising 358 Modified track champion. For Bicknell, it is his 25th track championship. Cody McPherson from St. Catharines was the Right Choice Auto & Leisure Sportsman track champion. Dave Bailey from Hagersville, Ontario will celebrate another Hoosier Stock track championship. Brent Begolo from Thorold, Ontario will celebrate his RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites championship. Alex Riley from St. Catharines, Ontario is the Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinder track champion.
