Elma, WA -
John Higgenbottom and Brandon Hoekstra led the field to green on a hooked up tricky track after lots of moisture in the last 24 hours for the 25 lap main event. After an early caution for debris there would be some hard racing and contact with Tyson Blood and Craig Moore for 10th would send Blood around to bring out another caution. After a another caution for more debris, Higenbottom would take the early lead and lead the first 11 laps and on lap 12 disaster would strike Higenbottom who would spin out and second place Brian Harding had no where to go and would bring out the caution giving the lead to Jake Sorenson. On the restart Brenton Schnitzer would find something starting 5th and get to second in one lap and then challenge and pass Sorenson on lap 20 and lead the rest of the way to win his first race of 2024 and make it back to back Timber Cup wins in the IMCA Modified division. Rounding out the top 5 would be Jake Sorenson, Jeff Hunt, Craig Moore and Tyson Blood would recover to 5th. Heat Race wins would go to John Higgenbottom, Tyson Blood, and Brenton Schnitzer.
