Bricen James has a perfect night on Night 1 of Modified Nationals

46 Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds Checked in for the 26th annual Modified Nationals and at the end of the Night it was all Bricen James who won both heat races and the Race of Champions and is at the top of the points for the redraw on Saturday Night.
Rick Smith and Zane Miner were on the front row of the Race of Champions with Smith leading the first 4 laps as Craig Moore would get into second and Bricen James would slot move up to 3rd. On lap 5 Bricen James would take the lead and set a furious pace at the front of the field with Collen Winebarger moving into second and trying to keep pace and Jesse Williamson into 3rd until lap 12 Williamson would slow and bring out the caution. On the restart Craig Moore would get to third and Nick Trenchard would battle with Zane Miner and get into 4th and them pass Moore for 3rd and then another caution would come out. On the late restart Trenchard would be able to get by Winebarger but have nothing for Bricen James as Bricen would pick up the win and $500. Nick Trenchard would finish second, followed by Collen Winebarger, Gray Ferrando, and Craig Moore.
On Friday Night the Modified Nationals is all about heat races and with 46 Modifieds there was 12 heat races. Heat race wins went to Ethan Killingsworth, Jason Tole, Jesse Williamson, Kevin Williamson, Trevor Labarge, Bricen James (twice), Grey Ferrando, Kyler Moore, Collen Winebarger, Nick Trenchard, and Tyson Blood. Bricen James leads the points, followed by Gray Ferrando, Jesse Williamson, Tyson Blood, Trevor Lebarge, Ethan Killingsworth, Adam Holtrop, and last redraw car is Eston Whisler. The rest of the points will be posted on Grays Harbor Social Media and website.
Saturday Night we are back with night 2 of the Modified Nationals. We will crown the 2025 Modified Nationals Champion and someone will go home with $7500. The top 18 are locked in and there will be two b-mains taking 3 from each to fill out the 24 car field. The I-5 Siilver Bullet Late Models will be back for a full show with qualifying, heat races, and a main event.
